The Electro Glide 500 has a 350W continuous/700W peak DC hub motor. It has a 37V, 10A lithium-ion batter with 2 Ah charger. Its PWM motor controller has 20 amp overload protection. Its twist throttle has 20 mph cut-off protection. It has a 25 to 30 mile range per charge. It has a 7-speed Shimano Nexus rear hub with roller brake and a front disc brake. It has a Cateye digital speedometer/odometer, a comfortable cushioned saddle, and a rear carrier that can support up to 55 pounds. Its chain is rustproof, and both the fender and chain guard are made of light, removable polycarbonate. It has Weinmann Rigida DW rims with 13 gauge stainless steel spokes. It has front and rear LED lights powered by the main battery. The 6061 aluminum alloy frame weighs 59 pounds.

It comes with a warranty of two years on the frame, fork and all mechanical/electrical parts, except for normal wear and tear items. There is a one year warranty on the battery.
